Henry (Herb)'s Story
After I left high school I joined the Marine Corps and stayed in for 10 years. During this time I married and we had 4 children.
I then joined the police department in Huntington Beach, Ca. I promoted to the rank of sergeant and served in many capacities including K-9 handler and supervisor, field training supervisor, and SWAT team officer. I retired after 28 years on the department.
I remarried and had a daughter with my 2nd wife. That daughter ha...Expand for more
s recently graduated from high school and is going to the University of California Irvine to become a doctor.
My youngest son and his wife are doing very well and in my retired life I get to watch my granddaughter 2 days a week at my request.
I have another son who is also doing very well and living close enough for me to see my 3 grandchildren often.
My other son and daughter are also doing very well but one lives in Oregon and the other in Phoenix.
